Meet Dr. Hille
EDUCATION
Dr. Andrew Hille is a lifelong resident of Sioux Falls. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1990 and went on to attend Luther College in Decorah, IA. There he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in biology and a minor in psychology. He was a four-year member of the collegiate men’s basketball and rugby teams, as well as the Iota Sigma Omicron fraternity. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for post-graduate studies in biochemistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. From there, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship, followed by a four-year surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. Additionally, in December of 2018, Dr. Hille completed his Master of Divinity from Sioux Falls Seminary.
AFFILIATIONS
Dr. Hille is a member of The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The South Dakota Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The American Dental Association, The Southeastern District Dental Association, and The South Dakota Dental Association. He is a board member of the Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, South Dakota, and an annual guest lecturer at the Southeast Area Technical Institute in Sioux Falls. He is the co-founder of the River Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Center. Dr. Hille is also an attending surgeon at both the Sanford Hospital USD Medical Center and University Health Center of Sioux Falls.
CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS
Dr. Andrew Hille is dedicated to many organizations within the Sioux Falls area, some of which include the Donated Dental Assistance Program, The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Sioux Falls, the Sanford Children’s Hospital, the Teddy Bear Den, many high schools within the surrounding area, Dakota Alliance Soccer Club, Junior Achievement and helps to sponsor several athletic teams in Sioux Falls.
FAMILY
Dr. Hille is married to his wife, Susan, and has three children, Anna Christine, Emma Kaye, and Jack Robert. He has one brother who resides in Boulder, CO.
OTHER INTERESTS
Dr. Hille enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his children’s athletic teams, theological studies, hunting, fishing, basketball, rugby, golfing, Iowa Hawkeye Football, and of course, Harley-Davidson. Dr. Hille is a member of the Good News Reformed Church in Sioux Falls, where he serves as a Stephen Minister.
